The Jellifish barrel lifter was also designed to be as simple as possible for workers to operate on a daily basis. Even though the tool can capably lift heavy crash barrels, it only weighs 60 lbs. This means that while still in its storage bag it can be easily moved and attached to the forklift. Once the worker on the ground removes the bag clearing the Jellifish, machine operators can position it at the center point of the barrel that needs to be raised. As soon as the ground worker attaches the grab hook to the tail part of the chain, the lifting tool is secured to the impact attenuator.
When no longer needed for the remainder of the workday, the forklift barrel lifter can be lowered back into its storage bag and separated from the machine. There is no complexity to the process whatsoever, which is just part of the amazing overall value that the Jellifish provides.
